Be glad that you don't have a paper today. NUS had a blackout today, at least in FASS, so all the lights and air-cons are down. D: Not only it would super hot with poor lighting. The exam venues had to open the doors to let the air in, with people trooping along the corridors. So distracting and non-conducive can.

Anyway, I finally got the bank statement done and laid my hands on the application forms. DBS Bank was giving flowers in recognition of all the kind and wonderful mothers on Earth. with a photographer lurking not-so-secretively lurking around to snap your picture

My dorm just had a screening of it downstairs (alas there weren't that many people), and GOD, I CAME. Bellamy can KILL with his guitar. And and and THEY GAVE OUT FREE LARGE POSTERS.



They had a raffle... AND MY ROOMIE WON A FREE COPY OF THE H.A.A.R.P CD/DVD >o< !!!!! She asked if I wanted it, and I went, "KEEP IT. I AM PROUD TO HAVE CONVERTED YOU." I'll prolly end up buying a copy myself... XD;; It is worth keeping.

This totally made up for my shitty day. I got lectured by my employer for my recent poor attendance due to the classes yet fail to inform her in advance. I'm on the 3rd strike... *sigh guiltily* I want to keep working, so must do better.

On other notes, just when I expected Clapp to criticize my comic on Wednesday, he actually gave me a pat in the back and said "Good job on it!" I literally heard "A~~LLELUIA~" above my head. Sleeping at 6AM was worth it then, tho that's why I missed my working shift. -_-;

Clapp's gonna compile all 2-pg comics from each class into one anthology and print copies at KINKOS, $6 per book. I want one. XD That's like 70+ comics. Everyone worked so hard on them, and it's great to see so many different styles, to be part of this energy.

This weekend shall be living hell. I want this month to end.

I bought myself a new teapot for Mother's Day! It's a clear teapot and it came with 12 different kinds of flowering teas. So far I have had 2 and they are so beautiful and fun to watch. I figured it was ok to buy myself a gift since my son's father wont be buying me something from my son (my son is only 3 years old). Atleast this way I got something that I knew I wanted, and I'm totally loving it!!!

What are those photos of?  The Olympic torch's arrival into the city of GuangZhou (capital of GuangDong province) in China on May 7th.  Yes, those are all people down there.  The Olympic torch has been dogged by protesters of all types, mostly surround the Tibet issue as it traveled around the globe, but in China, there is no doubt as to where the hearts and minds of the people are.  So for all you pro-Free Tibet screamers out there, come and take a look, your stunts have done nothing except rally the Chinese people to join together in heart and soul, united in celebrating for the realization of this century long dream for our 1.3 billion people.  Do not attempt to speak for us when you do not understand us.


Welcome, to China, now imagine when the torch reaches cities like Beijing and Shanghai :D

Last night at approximately midnight (my time), the Olympic torch reached the summit of Mt. Everest, or Mt. Qumolangma.  According to CBC, out of the final 5 in the group that reached the summit, 3 were Tibetans and a Tibetan woman by the name of Cering Wangmo carried the flame to the summit；
